Bioxitide 25/125mcg HFA Inhalation Aerosol combines salmeterol, a long-acting beta-2 agonist, with fluticasone propionate, an inhaled corticosteroid, belonging to the combination bronchodilator-corticosteroid inhaler class. It's designed for regular, twice-daily maintenance use rather than for sudden symptom relief. Common effects include blurred vision, sudden coughing, or difficulty breathing shortly after use, along with the general risk of oral thrush associated with inhaled corticosteroids. Something important to know: this inhaler is not a rescue treatment, rinsing your mouth with water after each use helps reduce the risk of oral thrush, and alcohol may increase heart rate more noticeably when combined with this medicine.

The typical adult dose is 2 inhalations twice daily, approximately 12 hours apart, or as specifically directed by your doctor. Do not use more often or at a higher dose than prescribed.
